TRX Assisted Trunk and Hip Mobility
It's no secret to those of you who have taken my courses that I do not have the best rotational mobility. I often joke that I have 3 thoracic vertebrae, and only a few people get it.
Thanks to my colleague Chris Nentarz, who I have partnered for upcoming Mobility 2 Perform Seminars for CrossFit, Runners, Fitness, Coaches, and anyone else who needs mobility knowledge, without all the smashing and bashing associated with such drills. Below is a great video using a TRX, and how you can combine various manual therapies, trunk and hip movements to improve rotational mobility in the hips and thoracic spine.
After the manual therapy is performed, you can easily replicate a similar mobility drill with a pole, home TRX, Jungle Gym XT, etc. I will be working on this for a few weeks but after a simple 1 minute video, my rotational mobility felt much better and my reach, raise and lift in quadruped was the best it has ever been!
