Quick Links!
Today's Quick Links are from Aaron Swanson, The Science of Sport, and Body in Mind.
If there is one statement I enjoy hearing over and over again, it was that a blog reader decided to take an MDT seminar after years of ignoring them. Over at The Science of Sport, a post on The 7 High Performance Principles for Sport and Business. It's a great post and I agree than business is a competition as well. Adapt, work hard, learn from your failures and don't rest on your laurels!
It's been a while since I featured Body in Mind on a Quick Links. Just yesterday they posted an interesting review on research showing that bacteria had an effect on peripheral nociception. Both mechanical and thermal nociceptors were triggered by the bacteria. An interesting conclusion is that blocking the nervous system could help reduce both pain and infection.
