Today's Quick Links come from Tool Assisted Massage, PT Marketing Unleashed, and Chiropractic and Manipulative Therapies.
Prof Ernst is no fan of the chiropractic adjustment (or manipulation for that matter). Here is a study that looked at the same studies he examined and found "errors" in his methods. However, not having the techniques performed by licensed or traditionally trained chiros does not make for an error in the study, as it's studying a technique not a profession's version of the technique. Here is the abstract from Chiropractic and Manipulative Therapies. Thoughts?
Tool Assisted Massage is an EDGE affiliate in the UK. Ove, a physio over there wrote a mini lit review on physio hand and repetitive stress injury. Head on over to his site and read about the Rule of Thumb.
Samuel runs a great site, PT Marketing Unleashed. If you have a practice and have not harnessed the power (often free) of social media, you're missing out on a lot of potential referrals and opportunities. I started blogging to bring awareness to my practice and EDGE tool, and it has gotten me to be able to roll out nationwide CEU courses starting in 2013! Samuel interviewed me about my site, blog, and social media and my thoughts on the PT profession. You can get it on i-tunes or his site here.
