This was written by Dr. Bob Robinson, DPT, MS, DipMDT, FAAOMPT. I had the pleasure of mentoring Bob in the McKenzie Institutes's Fellowship Program. Bob is an all around great therapist, good friend, and extremely hard working and motivated individual. In the post, he explains some of the missed points of MDT. MDT is more than just repeated motions, the exam makes you actually listen to the patient, and classify them into a reliable system of syndromes that you can immediately apply to treatment.
