Now that we know joint mobilizations do not have mechanical effects, we can forgo specific glides to work on "specific" parts of the capsule.
Many times inferior glides improve overhead mobility, but the superior area of the glenohumeral joint happens to be painful from impingement like complaints. Here are my variations on shoulder mobilizations that should be comfortable and threat free. If still uncomfortable you can perform the same techniques with an EDGE Mobility Band to further decrease threat.
